Peter Greaves - technologist, bass player, photographer,

artist, bass builder, cook and consultant. Born in South Africa and now based in Nashville Tennessee, I was an anti-apartheid activist in the 80s. Trained as a counselor with a post-graduate qualification in special education I have made a career of being a generalist. I have owned a consulting firm, been the external examiner for a journalism school, sit in the advisory board for a tech startup, have owned a Macadamia nut farm and have sat on two state advisory boards. I am currently the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and I am active as a bass player, and photographer.

I am a consultant for various startups, sat on two state advisory boards, have worked in the health information exchange space on over 100 HIEs in 40 states, sit on the technical advisory board for a medical device startup, and work with NGOs in sub-Saharan Africa.
